Last week I gave my piano student a piece called Make Way for the King… Today she opened the book and turned to me and said “that aged well didn’t it?” 😅

More stories from my teaching last night… Was writing down notes and saw my student fiddling with his pocket, so just ignored. Then looked up just in time for him to put something in his mouth. He had brought Haribo’s to the lesson in case he got hungry. Fair enough.

My 10 y/o student just told me he got a retro Barcelona shirt for his birthday. It was from 2007.

Astounding work from all the musicians involved in today’s service. A huge amount of work and pressure, especially for the young boys in the choir. We must never take the British choral tradition for granted, and long may it continue.

Feeling very chuffed to have passed my DipABRSM in instrumental teaching with distinction!

Had the best couple of days exploring Cambridge! Especially visiting Clare College postgrad open day.
