Debate Math Pod Pam Harris vanessa vakharia Great debate. For me, both strategies fall under math literacy. Ss can understand & use both. They can choose which strategy will work best for different math contexts. That is empowerment. In LA, Ss learn to read all sorts of genres, poetry, fiction, etc.
