This is just brilliant to see young teenage boys dancing hip-hop together. Bravo Project Arts Centre and Tobi. I'd go back to school just to partake in something like this!
Our students started a 5 weeks School Residency Programme with Project Arts Centre today. We met Cathy Coughlan, artist Jessie Thomspon & deaf artist Lianne Quigley. The SRP offers students an opportunity to work with professional artists embedding artistic practice in their performance
This week marked the end of our 6-week 'School Residency Programme' with deaf artist Lianne Quigley (Sign Name: Smiley) and Cathy Coughlan from the Project Arts Centre! Our TY, 5Th years and 6th years students had an incredible time exploring creative performance with talented dancers
and the Irish Human Rights Equality Commission for this amazing opportunity. One of our 6th-year students summed it up perfectly: "Thank you for giving me amazing memories!"
