Kildare Rising 📈 Two months ago, Kildare had never won a game in the Joe McDonagh Cup ❌ Since then, The Lilywhites have gone unbeaten in the competition. Kildare, a third-tier team in 2024, will compete in the Leinster Championship for 2026🤯

A great thrill to see our nephew, Cathal McCabe, named in midfield on Joe McDonagh Cup team of the year. One of seven Kildare players. Fitting reward for their monumental season. Cathal's a class lad. His GAA-mad Scottish mother will be particularly proud. And a tad emotional.
