This is getting to be cumbersome.

Martin has always held his lectures in the early mornings — and not just because he finds it helps dissuade students who aren’t sincerely dedicated to the pursuit of physics. He’s just a morning person. There’s nothing like a pre-dawn cup of coffee.

𝐴𝘩𝑒𝑚— Unlike his and Mister Rory’s late-night ( and fairly noisy ) mechanical tinkering, Martin’s morning thesis grading is a silent pleasure.

Rather the opposite, in fact. He finally has the chance—nay—the time to provide proper feedback to his more dedicated pupils.

They are free to settle with the academic pursuits of his contemporaries. Though calling them such is overstating it a tad. Students serious about the study are more than willing to make the so-called sacrifice.

||: Martin stop your ego is showing

Well that’s a reasonable conclusion one would come to, fair. However his course of study is highly specialized. Conflicts and such are nearly impossible. Martin himself — spends perhaps a tad bit too much time at STAR labs, so adjustments are possible.

The rewards of academia and, more importantly, the overall betterment of science far outweigh things like scheduling conflicts.

Admittedly there are a fair few things, albeit most of them of the criminal variety, that Mister Snart knows more about than Martin himself. But should Snart ever consider broadening his horizons. He grades in the canteen.

As if I wouldn’t log in here after finding out about 7x03…

“A brief moment of silence for my contemplative evenings…” It’s like he never left.

“It seems not, though the same can’t be said for h e a r i n g them. I see we’ve done away with ‘Quiet Hours’ in my absence.”
