Forest fires are raging in central-southern Chile, so far killing 24 people and injuring nearly 1,000 more. The government has imposed emergency measures in three regions - Ñuble, Araucania and Biobío - where 270,000 hectares have been affected.

The situation right now in the Concepción province. Forest fires are far from under control and with the high temperatures and strong wind this week things aren't likely to change soon. Arson, drought and monoculture forestries don't help either. (Credits to owners of these vids)
