New thing I am trying: learning to animate instead of just making gifs! This is a short demo of a "mapping torus" kind of visualization

People were really nice when I posted an animation attempt, so here are the fruits of this week's practice! I have a lot to learn but I'm having fun :) This "promo" is for our seminar's listserv and not twitter, so I sadly can't invite you all, but I hope you like the vid!
