What's happening? Wish I knew. Pen & Sword website suddenly listed my book's publication for 30 September. Gutted.

They say 'the website' changed the publication date. It now shows a new date of 4 September What a way to run a business! Personally I think I'll wait till I see an actual book with my own eyes.

Good news - my book's in print at last. I started researching Captain Armstrong over 30 years ago, so it's great to know that this tribute has at last appeared in print.

On World Book Day it's time I mentioned my latest book published last week - a new translation of the Richard III report written in 1483 by Mancini. The old one needed an overhaul after 84 years!

I see there are bulk orders coming in from places like the USA and NZ, so I've bitten the bullet - ordered a reprint!

My talk for Ricardians by Zoom at two o’clock on 23 May – this is a new take on “The Mysterious Affair at Stony Stratford” (home of the cock & bull story) – I’m told 60+ people have signed up.

My talk on Zoom (23 May) now fully booked. The events of Northampton/Stony Stratford are infrequently discussed, but there's a lot of overlooked detail in Domenico Mancini which you see only by reading it really really closely.

For anyone who saw (or missed) my talk on Zoom yesterday I'm working on a full-scale article on the Stony Stratford episode and will make it freely available when ready.
