How should you interact with a bereaved parent? Try and include them. Always think before you speak. Be a good listener. Don’t offer advice unless asked. Be a practical friend. Show up. Don’t try to fix someone. Remember their child and talk about them 🧵

If you say something to upset them, own it and say sorry. We are all imperfect people, trying to find our way through life. It’s so important to be kind and support one another 💛🎗️

We were lucky enough to stay at Poppy’s Place this week, courtesy of the wonderful Anam Cara Fasgadh. Such wonderful care and compassion shown to bereaved families, we are incredibly grateful to have had a peaceful family time in beautiful Argyll 🦢 Always missing our Flossie 💛

Today is #BackToSchool & Ivy is starting secondary school. How I wish her big sister Flossie was here to show her the ropes & start yr 10 💔 Life can be so cruel and it’s really tough to keep on going. Missing my beautiful Floss so much, but so proud of her little sister too 💚
