When you put in a 12.5 hour day at work, walked 4 miles, your feet hurt so bad you can’t walk and you come home to this, you can’t help but smile. My Sweet Caroline cooked supper tonight! Seared steak, roasted brussels sprouts, and creamed potatoes! #blessed #onetiredmomma

Allowing a student to retake an assessment for full credit says to the student you believe in them & their ability to do better. It says I know you're still learning & getting it perfect the first time doesn't happen often; keep trying.

Lots of kids have some really good reasons to have a bad attitude. But we expect them to have a good one every day. We should never have higher expectations of the kids than we have of the adults.
