We're thrilled to share our 2016 Monterey Pinot Noir received 91 points from Wine Enthusiast: "Aromas of hibiscus, pomegranate, raspberry and herbs lead into a palate with hints of game, red fruit and a touch of dried mint." —M.K.

The Autumnal Equinox marks the beginning of Fall, a time to honor the harvest. As the grapes flow into the winery, the changing seasons remind us how we experience the harvest season in our own lives. What efforts & intentions from the year do you hope to see come to fruition?

When it comes to water, there may not always be more where that came from so we irrigate our vineyards with efficient drip emitters, and moisture probes allow us to manage water usage so vines receive the right amount of water and not a drop more. 🥂to 🌎! #everydropcounts

We understand water is one of our most precious resources - especially here in CA. That's why the rinse water from our barrels and tanks is reused three times before being recycled for vineyard drip irrigation. Learn more about our sustainability efforts: carmelroad.com/sustainability

Winter Solstice presents a pause to slow down, reflect, and set intentions for the new year. The naked vines are a reminder from nature that rest precedes growth in the seasons to come. Find Carmel Road wines near you: carmelroad.com/store-locator. #wintersolstice #montereywines

Winemaking doesn't stop for winter! During the cold months, our winemaking team is out pruning the vines, while in the cellar #PinotNoir is in barrel going through malolactic fermentation and #Chardonnay is aging on the lees, getting stirred every few weeks. #Montereywines
