With your wonderful contributions during our events hosted in our Autumn term of 2022, we have begun to support our children in opportunities for this Spring term. Our Chair Rose & Vice Chair Becky handed over funds to Miss Rose (EYFS Lead) support their trip to Paignton Zoo.

Yesterday was very special, I got the chance to speak to lots of 4&5 year olds about food poverty and food waste. The children got to chop, squeeze, smell, taste and hear the food. It was a sensory experience. Education around food from an early age is so important.

A big thank you to the whole reception team for making it possible, They embraced it all and let the children lead the sensory session. It was very messy and the best quote during the clean up was a big mess means lots of fun and lots of learning has happened.

A huge thank you to FareShare South West Shelly and the Plymouth team who supplied our food for the children to explore, they loved the hats and food hero jackets 😊
