2 year old development always comes up at conferences and in discussions. Don’t think because the way you do things for 3-5 year olds it’s the same for 2 year olds. They have not yet grasped many things a 3 year old can do. So start with the child in the Now. Focus on movement 👍

I am so proud to lead a team that puts play at the heart of our ethos at the university for early childhood degrees. We have some new hoodies and I love them. Be a part of something big, value play, value the child and value those who train to be the professionals of our future.

We need to be working with the DFE to press forwards for more graduates in our EY settings.

Nursery World There are lots of wonderful educators out there, but if we don’t aim for graduates in all our settings, leading provision and in practice daily with very young children, we will never achieve quality provision.
