The All-Party Group on Youth Participation had a great turnout yesterday evening, including MLAs, youth organisation NI Youth Forum, Action for Children NI, Homeless Connect and NYP member Oliver 😃 The session focused on youth homelessness as part of #HAW24 #timeforchange.

Introducing the NCAFP year 2 cohort of Northern Ireland Emerging Leaders! Excited to be working with this inspiring group to develop their policy recommendations over the next year in areas including VAWG, educational equity, human rights, equality, health and more.

Brilliant to hear from young people from NI Youth Forum, @DiverseNI and YouthAction Northern Ireland yesterday about their priorities for peace in Northern Ireland. Helpful challenges from the group to involve young people in policymaking. Thanks to the Peace Summit Partnership for convening.

This such an important campaign. I have often spoke out about the harassment women and girls face on public transport. This is a prime example of incidents that women face, working or using public transport. It’s important to speak out when you see something that’s wrong.
