If we don’t have a properly funded healthcare system people will die. People already are dying in waiting lists. That’s the evidence we have received from the sector. If the Executive don’t get it, then we are in a very worrying place.

Very sorry to hear about Davy McCauley's passing, and I know today will be a difficult day for many in Mourne as he is laid to rest. Thoughts are with his family and Ulster Unionist Party colleagues today especially. May he rest in peace.

Unpaid carers save the North £5.8billion every year. Yet this often comes at a personal cost to the carer. We cannot just rely on people's goodwill - they need to be supported. Looking forward to doing this through the APG

Today I’ve joined MLAs from across the political spectrum in signing a letter to the Health Minister that calls for a National Brain Tumour Strategy. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40. But we can change this, together #ItsANoBrainer

Hopes of free parking for staff are now complicated with new restrictions and criteria being implemented. Surely this wasn’t what the initial bill intended? A significant development from today’s debate that needs further scrutiny!
