New England Customers: We are prepared for a powerful storm predicted to bring heavy rain and up to 70 mph winds to the region late tonight. The most severe weather is expected to begin after 8 p.m. across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and continue into Friday morning.

National Grid has now classified the incoming weather event as a Type-3 event which means in the event of power interruption it can take up to 72 hours for restoration. Please take the time today to prepare for possible power outages.
