The finally sun came out today so we got to finish the last activity of the Einstein-First #atomfrenzy unit. The children got to apply their knowledge of photons, phonons, conduction and insulation to cook up some pancakes- so much fun!

This was our first week as a 1:1 iPad school and so far, so good! Amazing support with 96% of my parents buying an iPad for their child. So excited for our journey!

Using tips from Jenny Jongste’s interactive storybook lesson to demonstrate understanding of the bee life cycle. Love the way this student has used audio and line drawing at the same time. Does anyone know how to share this without losing the interactive function?

I learnt a new shortcut when subtracting with 0, so I showed my class who thought it was the coolest trick. They begged to make a video and last week they proudly showed the Year 3s. Here’s one example where she used line drawing on #keynote, screenrecord and collated on #clips

After listening to Shaping Minds Australia at a #SoR PL last year, I set myself a goal of teaching new vocab and morphemes every week, together with my school’s spelling program. I’ve loved it, but to see kids write about it in our school yearbook (over sport!) just makes me so happy!😄
