After 43 years at PCH. What a journey its been . What wonderful people I have met and have had the honour to work with along the way. Time to retire and return part time to where I started in the operating theatres Made my day when the Big Boss came to say goodbye ❤

I also remember and have flashbacks about feeling guilty coming home after shifts to see my family and also staying away to try and protect them. Telling 8,9 even 10 families a day their loved ones had passed away was horrible. At the same time tory HQ were partying #Partygate

Mixed emotions today ❤️40 years of my 45 nursing career on this theatre suite .Today we are moving to our new suite .I have been blessed to have started my nursing career as a band 5 scrub /recovery nurse and retired and returned as a band 5 recovery nurse .Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
