the average wait for social housing in Toronto is over 8 years long. the average wait in the emergency department is over 20 hours for a hospital bed. the wait to access mental health counselling is at a record high. these are the waits that need collective focus/action now.

Warning people about extreme heat is not an intervention when you have not ensured AC in schools, LTC, for disabled folks etc. Warnings are not enough.

In Ford's Ontario his MPPs get over $16000 a year increases but nurses get 1%. Educators get threatened but hundreds of Billions go on highways that will enrich his friends. Fiscally wrong, Ethically wrong. Just plain wrong

What Ontario is doing to education workers is illegal, and know it. There is a word for people who knowingly break the law.

Avg. rent in the city is 2500/month, which is 30K/year. Avg. CUPE Ed worker salary is 39K/year. Remember who to be mad at if schools are closed due to a strike: blame falls squarely on the man denying early childhood educators and custodians the right to basic decent living.

It is undue burden to comply with regulation. Just going to leave this gem here.

Welcome to Ontario, where the government is helping police by making their tuition free…but is not helping to address the root causes of crime including a lack of housing, healthcare, food, harm reduction services and mental health supports. Isn’t this just cruel?
