Great progress has been made to increase the number of adults vaccinated in the US. The dissemination of health info changed beliefs in the most vulnerable populations. However, the major issues with the #COVID19 vaccine lies in access for these communities. (Tweet 1/5 #PM565)

The ability to test and contact trace individuals exposed to COVID-19 aids in the mitigation of the spread of the virus. Without this function in low-income countries, the virus will continue to spread unmonitored and will lead to more deaths and variants (Tweet 2/5 for #PM565)

In Mongolia, there is a clear need for innovative heating solutions due to low temperatures. The message Tuguldur is promoting is key to raising awareness about the effects of air pollution and ways to combat it. There is still a need for interventions. (Tweet 3/5 for #PM565)

Low-income countries are struggling with accessing and disseminating Covid-19 vaccines. So it is great news that Yemen, a low-income nation, is able to secure the vaccine. However, the conflict in Yemen is concerning for actually getting vaccines into arms. (Tweet 4/5 for #PM565)

African health leaders are often overlooked as resources for public health in Africa, yet are fundamental to key changes in African health. The creation of vaccines in Africa will reduce costs and increase access for the whole continent. This is major! (Tweet 5/5 for #PM565)

Are vaccine mandates ethical? Though I believe the COVID-19 vaccination is detrimental to the success of eradicating the COVID-19 pandemic, US military officers are in a position where their rights are taken away. If they do not want the vaccine, they cannot simply quit. #PM568

Persons vaccinated by way of the COVAX program are restricted from entering the UK; The COVAX was only distributed to LMICs. The unethical nature of this case is highlighted by the fact that the same vaccines were distributed in the UK and by the COVAX program (UK funding) #PM568

COVID-19 has exposed the inequity and inequality ever-present in the distribution of medical technology. Without ensuring medical information, or in this case, resource sharing, the distribution of the burden of disease will reflect society's health inequity. #PM568

Interesting case about unethical care in Brazil. This makes me think about whether the issue is due to lack of resources for treating COVID-19 patients or if the individual health provider actually had malicious intentions. #PM568

Interesting case as the mandate will negatively effect the education of 34,000 students. Are there strategies and methods being implemented to improve online learning until the children are vaccinated? Will incentives improve vaccine acceptance? #PM568

From a PH perspective, is it ethical to allow individuals with power & a platform to spew what they consider "health" information, when the information will be detrimental to the health and well-being of the public. Is it unethical the censure the speech of the senator? #PM568
