Attending the Sheffield Hallam University Inspirational Student Awards this evening was…well, truly inspirational. In my role in staff comms, it can be easy to lose sight of the university’s core business. But these students’ stories blew me away, as did Prof. Laura Serrant CBE PhD’s opening speech.👏👏

It was a real privilege to be a judge again this year. It's always so inspirational to hear about the incredible research by our @HallamStaff. The fantastic thing about the #3MT competition is that it helps ordinary folk like me actually understand just how transformative it is.
