We need sustainable transport!
Well done @fmwales for choosing #NoNewM4. This road across the wildlife-rich Gwent Levels would've increased traffic & emissions.

All of us who love the Levels welcome this statement from Julie James MS Welsh Government Climate Change today. Taking action to protect this landscape is the right thing to do. Thanks to John Griffiths MS Gwent Wildlife Trust Our Living Levels for the amazing work they do here. gov.wales/written-statem…

Congrats to ⁦Stonehenge Alliance⁩. I’m sure fellow-supporters of our ⁦CALM⁩ which helped stop the M4 bypass destroying the Gwent Levels will be equally delighted. BW for the ultimate victory of your campaign. Thank you to the Judges too. bbc.com/news/uk-englan…

As long as Wales has a lamentable and prohibitively expensive rail service people will stick to their cars. We need an overhaul and we need subsidies. Campaign for Better Transport SustransCymru

This has got to change. We need legislation to put sustainable transport at the core of every new development. theguardian.com/society/2022/f…

Here are two beauties you might see on a daily basis on the Gwent Levels - the elusive Cetti's warbler and the even more elusive water rail. But they're under constant threat from speculative development. Join us to help protect them. gwentlevels.org.uk

WHAT????!!! Have we learned nothing about the benefits of green space for mental and physical health? It's 2022, guys. Let's stop turning the world into one big car park. How about better public transport and then people won't need so many cars?

The idea of constructing new office space with parking for hundreds of cars on the outskirts of Cardiff is wrong and totally at odds with Welsh Government policy on how we should be shaping our future.

Good work. We didn't spend all that time protecting the Levels from a motorway only to see it attacked from another quarter.

Hahaha - it turns out that there were plans to build a station at St Mellons long before CardiffHendreLakes made out that it was all their own idea and that there would need to be a 'business district' to justify it. This is from the 1880s.

Is the Welsh Government right to scrap all plans for work to increase capacity the M4 on the stretch through south Wales? walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-new…

Next week, #NoMowMay is back! 🌼 This spring, take action for nature by... doing nothing. Sit back, let the grass grow tall, the wildflowers bloom, and watch nature move in. Will you be taking part this May? 📷 Maria Clarke Plantlife
