A friend my age has pointed out that we are nearly 15 yrs older than the character Shirley Valentine was in the film. In another 15 yrs we’ll be in our 70s & hopefully still up for a trip to Greece to shag Tom Conti. Worth remembering, today is the youngest you’ll ever be.

It’s been pointed out to me that when the Golden Girls started they were 53, 54 & 55. I’m older than all but one of the Golden Girls. I remember it being a bit saucy because one of them was still into sex & they ate their dinner really early. Wait, I am a Golden Girl.
