3rd Grade landscapes inspired by artist Jen Aranyi using warm and cool colors.

Scribble Stones in 2nd Grade this week inspired by the story with the same title. Students added some color to their stone and then passed it around the class so others had a chance to add some color. It was a fun collaborative project!

2nd Graders worked really hard and persevered with these pop tarts. They were a challenge, but our students did a great job and the results are a lot of fun!

2nd Grade just started a new project this week focusing on pattern and then adding air-dry clay to their flowers for some texture.

Flower gardens in 1st Grade with a tissue paper bleed technique. Next class students will take off the tissue paper to reveal all the color!

This week we are working on printmaking in Kindergarten by using bubble wrap and ink. These will be used as backgrounds for an upcoming project.

Kindergarten did a great job with these colorful self-portraits inspired by author and artist Todd Parr!

1st Grade Butterflies are finally taking flight! Students used a printmaking method to create the backgrounds using tempera paint and a flat edge. 🦋

2nd Grade ice cream cone sculptures are beginning to take shape. 🍦

2nd Graders did an amazing job with these patterned flower vases! They added model magic clay to their flowers before painting for some texture.

5th Grade character prints turned out amazing! They always amaze me with their attention to detail and execution of their work.

One of my favorite end of the school year activities is this one. Students move a lid on their paper using a marker to create lines. Then they add color inside the shapes to create these interesting, abstract artworks!
