Initial impressions of new GEN4 on iRacing. Corners feel very similar to the old gen4, right rear feels a bit different and has more of a cushion type feel to sitting on the RR (authentic) STRAIGHTS: This car has some 2018 gen6 in it, very floaty and that's a good thing 👍👍

Until they reduce the non-SS draft I don't think I will race the gen4. It has 2019 550hp package draft, how do you release the car like this iRacing? For the love of God start using your pro fields as a beta testers instead of those 1.5k iRaters.

Hey iRacing iRacing Support The real Gen4 had more separation in 3 laps than your new release does in an entire fuel tank run because you have the draft 5-10x stronger than it should be. That's not very authentic please fix.

I'm glad eNASCAR has 20 minute breaks between the the ridiculously short heats instead of just having a 200-250 lap race in that same time. Flop of a format.

Great entertainment value does not mean it's great racing. So many have completely lost the plot and settled for ADHD slop. Appreciation for the true sport of oval racing dwindles from existence every day. Last night was fun, stop ruining it by pretending it's the pinnacle.

This is a blast to watch even single car, this is the type of squirming and struggle we need to see out of each car on a weekly basis on all ovals. This is the key to entertainment without sacrifing the integrity of the sport. Cars don't have to be packed up.

There is no field in sim racing or cup history that would race well with the box iRacing/Elton Sawyer puts its competitors in. They fail the drivers from a format and raw gameplay perspective. Yes there are issues, but it starts at the top and has rotted for years.

Disappointing to see everyone accepting the blatant scapegoating from #NASCAR. "We cant have the car we want because of non existent new OEMs and the teams wanting it to be cheaper", "We cant have race length or point formats we want because of TV". The real problem is leadership

An ancient, bug riddled, mistake of a car was more authentic than anything iRacing has produced for oval since they hired Eric Hudec and gave him the reigns in 2019. Be honest for 5 secs they have had 0 idea what they're doing since before covid. Passionless, complacent dev team.

iRacing has had a severe skill gap issue for about 6 years now. Will they ever do anything about it? If the only separation you can create is with dirty air you need new devs, or better yet... the old ones. eNASCAR really exposes just how poor the skill expression is at the top.

Dirt Bristol was nothing but bangers in the worst car of the sports history. Real glad we did away with one of the VERY few good decisions NASCAR has made in the last 20 years.
