Year three Stone Age Stamp.

Nice to see some cross curricular use of technology in Y3 Topic. Looks like the chn have been creating stone age adverts using images and textin MS Word.

Ok so we finished our Mars Explorer project and now the chn are writing up some evaluations. Who can we send them to in the ESA or NASA to get a response. They have done so wel I want to reward them with some external recognition.

Big more progress in the shared static Computing / STEM area, two working PCs, MacMini (Staff only) and a Raspberry Pi. All out ready to be used by whoever, whenever. Slowly, slowly.

Following on from the inspirational talks by Mr P MBE we have started to trial SeeSaw and ChaterPix. Read, write, perform. Innovative teaching and learning in Y3, BOOM!

First couple of sessions in the new #makerspace at our school. Making pm recycling pots, planters and key rings from recycled acrylic.

I’ve refocused m @CaenCommunityPrimarySchool #STEMeducation after school club on the environment. Here’s everyone getting stuck in filling the planters we made.

So now the planters have been made Bill Harvey after school club connected and fired up the old #raspberrypi computers in the new #maker space. Didn’t take them all long to find #Minecraft Pi version. 😂😂 Next week #Python #wildlifephotography cameras
