Learners who applied for higher education studies but who have not been accepted at an institution at the time, and now qualify when their matric results are released can sign-up on CACH. CACH service will open on 27 January 2023

CACH is a Government Service that collates information about applicants who could not get a place of study at a Post School Education and Training (PSET) institution and those who now qualify when the grade 12 results are released. Visit cach.cas.ac.za to sign up today!

Applicants who applied directly to the institutions can sign-up on CACH online at cach.cas.ac.za from 27 January 2023 until 31 March 2023.

From 3 February 2023, public institutions will be making offers to prospective students who meet the minimum requirements and can be accessed by any institution that still has space available.

CACH does not select prospective students to be considered for space. It is the prerogative of institutions. #CACH2023 #College #University

Prospective students have two (2) days to accept or reject an offer. A maximum of three offers will be made to a person thereafter the person is removed from the Database and will not be allowed to sign-up again.

We urge all prospective students to respond to all offers made to them. It is not wrong to reject an offer.

Public institutions that still have a place of study will continue to access CACH and retrieve information on the prospective students who meet the requirements for the Programmes not filled yet. CACH does not select applicants to be considered for space.

Private Institutions joins the mining of the data on 17 February 2023 and compete for prospective students with public institutions – Prospective students must not be surprised if they get offers from Private Institutions.

Colleges make offers for both Trimester 2 and Semester 2 for admission to study during the 2023 academic year.
