Using your platform to amplify fringe voices who want war and unrest is a hateful thing to do.

If you were happy on Oct 7th, something is deeply wrong with your moral compass. If you are happy innocent civilians are dying - again check your moral compass. I am traumatized by some of the posts I have seen since Oct 7th.

Jewish people. A traumatized people who have been pushed out of every country they have ever lived. My family came here with just the clothes on their back. My question: where should we live? Tell me where we can be safe.

The protests over the weekend and hateful comments on here have me feeling afraid for the Jewish people. Again, where should we go? Where can we live? Shouting at us to go back to Europe? Half my family is from Morocco. We can't go back there. So where?

Stop perverting the word zionist to mean a people who don't want to work along side the palestinians for peace.

Had a hateful person tell me I'm a racist because I follow certain people. So trying to understand multiple points of view makes me a racist? It is like following the BBC, The National Post and the New York Times. Different perspective.

Co-opting "never again" to use for your own cause is hateful. It is like saying "all lives matter". It is wrong.

Russian-Jewish owned grocery store vandalized. Yes, this is antisemitic - these owners have no say, no power to change what is happening in Israel/Gaza. They are just regular canadian citizens like you.

I have just seen the news about the horrible, anti-semitic attack at International Delicatessen Foods in Toronto. The increasing frequency of these brazen, hateful acts in different parts of the GTA is completely unacceptable and must stop.

Supporting Israel doesn't mean you support all military action. Supporting Israel can also mean you support a homeland for Jewish people. So when you throw in my face that I support Israel you clearly HAVE NOT taken the time to understand the nuance AND that is why you hate.

Apparently I am "entitled" for not wanting protests to happen in the neighbourhood I live in. Protests belong at Queens Park not in residential neighbourhoods.

Israel is mentioned in the torrah over 2000 times. This is part of the reason, Jewish people have an emotional connection to Israel. It is not simply a political idea.

Honestly the stupidity of comments on twitter/X. You can hope hostages home and grieve innocent lives lost in Gaza. The inability to hold space for both is sad, and leads to more hate.

This weeks torah reading: The children of Israel multiply in Egypt. Threatened by their growing numbers, Pharaoh enslaves them and orders the Hebrew midwives, Shifrah and Puah, to kill all male babies at birth. (Israel is mentioned again!)

I'm going to start asking people if they actually know any Jewish people or have Jewish friends. My bet is most don't. They think they know us... they don't.
