It’s been a pleasure listening to Michael Kretschmer, Minister-President of the Free State of Saxony. This city is beautiful and it’s canals make it so much more if a delight. Scottish Canals still boast the most beautiful canals though.

Just like Scottish Canals the canals in Leipzig travel through their city city centre and out to the woodlands. A beautiful and inviting experience. #worldcanalsconference2022

I love the way Leipzig tells and honours the stories of their canals. This one is about the mill that stood here in 1701 servicing the city. We have a ripe and colourful history in scotland and could learn a thing or two here Historic Environment Scotland Scottish Canals VisitScotland
