Pretty dahlias at Rousham House and Gardens

Flooding of the car park next to the River Stour by my house - complete with two stranded cars. Thankfully it has subsided, not so sure about whether the cars are ok. More warned for tomorrow though.. must park car elsewhere.

Tidied up the garden today before the rain sets in, and noticed the strawberries are still flowering. Very pleased with my new Abutilon Marion, which I hope will grow well in its semi sheltered location, but not too tall.

My timeline is filled with cats and dogs, it’s not so bad!

Great news that this project is finally confirmed. Historic England very generously increased their funding to £235,000 for the repair of 3 Grade II listed summerhouses within SRA and CCC are very grateful for their support, and I for one look forward to the works starting 🔜 🥳
