Diving into the numbers a bit, I think a lot of the Teoscar discourse is due to this: He looks worse because he's actually getting to (or getting close to) more balls than he was last year. His reaction and feet covered vs. average have improved in RF than what they were in LF.

That’s what I’ve ended up doing. But I still think the concept of paying to broadcast games on a broken platform is hilarious

The Dodgers have made some very questionable draft selections the last few years, and they haven’t had much success doing that. It’ll be interesting to see if they move away from that

Really fun pick for the Dodgers. Root has a well-round mix with an impressive curveball and changeup. JJ Cooper and I ooed and ahhed a few times watching his offspeeds this season.

Another excellent selection by Los Angeles. Davalan really honed his craft after transferring to Arkansas from FGCU. He trained bat speed heavily with weighted bats and adjusted his swing angle with great success. Pure hitter. Wrote about it here: baseballamerica.com/stories/how-tr…
