Russia has tried to steal Ukrainian land and has kidnapped 20,000 Ukrainian children — Mykola Kuleba explains why. There can be no negotiations on Ukraine’s future without Ukraine. 3 years on from Russia's full-scale invasion, we will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes.

I love swimming in the sea and rivers. I know first hand how the quality of water reflects the health of our planet. Estonia in UN | #StandWithUkraine 🇺🇦’s exhibit on the impact of waste stopped me in my tracks United Nations. And it shows how we can all take action to create less rubbish and protect our planet.

Wonderful to see National Geographic celebrate innovators in climate and nature action. Over 473 million children today live in conflict-affected areas. Peacebuilding not only ends violence but creates the stability for people to thrive. The UK has contributed over $250M to United Nations Peacebuilding, supporting multilateral action for a more peaceful, prosperous world.

80 years ago, courageous Allied forces liberated Europe. 80 years ago, the United Nations was formed to build a more peaceful world. Today, the UN’s mission is more important than ever. The UK remains committed to the UN Charter and maintaining global peace and security.

Congratulations Lewis Pugh, United Nations Patron of the Oceans, on completing the first-ever swim around Martha’s Vineyard. #TheSharkSwim has reminded us that the ocean ecosystem is ours to respect, protect and restore. An inspiration and privilege to join you for part of the 59 miles.
