Middle infielder Cavan Brady has joined Falmouth Commodores. After starring at Wheaton College where he played with Dores teammate Ryan McCarroll, Brady will attend Merrimack Baseball in the fall. Brady led the Lyons this spring with a .408 avg., 1.091 OPS, and 76 RBI in 50 games.

The majority of high school and even college players can't understand how physical (strong) major league players are. They better not be listening to the dumb dumbs telling them not to lift heavy weight, and not to bench press. Creating a base level of strength requires both.

Airport advice at 4am: The D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO coach that you ignore today might end up at a D1 program — or know someone who already is. Coaches talk. Moral of the story: Don’t “big league” coaches who take time out of their day to reach out to you. Respond.

If going JUCO was such a bad idea, then why are there SOOOO many coaches at 4 years schools looking for juco players to come and play right away?? Also, a lot of JUCO guys get massive scholarships to go to a 4 year. Go grind, play right away and develop. 🤷🏽‍♂️
