A final project in Ms. Lefevre’s pre-algebra classes is a Skittles catapult. Such a hands-on way to showcase student learning!

Physics in everyday life! Students in Mr. Smith & Mr. Petersen’s classes shared their research application findings last week with BVNW staff & peers. They will spend this week’s exam time answering staff & student questions about their projects. What a culmination of learning!

Spanish 3 students in Ms. Mustan, Ms. Contreras & Ms. Smith’s classes wrapped up their “A probar” unit with a food truck style activity. They made authentic Hispanic dishes, marketed & served them to classmates while conversing in Spanish. A delicious end to a fun unit!

During this final week in Speech with Mr. Michaels, students are giving their demonstration speeches on a wide variety of topics ranging from how to make gimbop to the best ways to do Pilates. Such an engaging way to showcase their speaking skills!
