Unity is so close here. They are actually going to release this "sample game" on Steam. Steam being by far the easiest place to release is still missing a massive chunk of launching a full game, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

There were several times during the porting process that I had to tell Alan Hazelden/Draknek & Friends how great this game is. The new Hint system is fantastic for when you get stumped as you get further into the game. You really need to play this game if you haven't.

A good friend just released a fun lemmings inspired game. I've played his builds over the years and it's been fun to watch become a shipped product. Grab the Xbox version today or Wishlist the upcoming Steam version.

Remember how I tried to be positive about a thing Unity for Games was doing? Apparently during their large round of layoffs this week, the entire team working on their new sample game Gigaya was laid off. I'm more concerned about the future of #unity3d now than I have ever been :-/

This runs beautifully on my 4k monitor on my 1080Ti. It's mesmerizing. I only wish it had a better sky. I may have to hunt something down.

I feel like they could raise the price and bundle in some games or store credit (Beat Saber is included for the next 4 months) - but a $100 increase when money is so tight does not seem like "moving the VR industry forward".

Game Devs - Any books you recommend for those new to the industry? I feel tech books become outdated - though biz, design, and art are constantly evolving too. After 17y in games I should have resources I would point to, but I don't. I'd love recent stuff, but old faves good too.

Glad to be able to work on this last year with Corey and Draknek. I can’t stress enough how clever the puzzles are and how satisfying it is to solve them. The DLC is familiar and yet challenging in new and creative ways and there’s more coming. Go get it!
