The internet has changed man… the finale of sonic mania got removed because I used 9/11 footage and put Tails’s plane in place of the 747. They claimed it was “promoting violent acts” Obviously they don’t know the 20 year rule on making jokes about national tragedy’s!

My appeal was basically this - they did not agree.

Makes me wanna make a new video. The most unsafe for YouTube video of all time… violate ALL the community guidelines… Oh wait that already exists - that’s the Pokémon series.

Here’s a concept for you. We make a LP of a kid friendly game. Then mark it not safe for children (as we do with all of our videos)… then literally go down the list of guidelines and try to violate all of them in 10 minutes. Then see how long it take for the removal.

another idea… I could edit the video they took down to provide “context” for the clip usage. They say that if you provide context you are permitted to use a clip of a violent act. So I could literally record a lecture explaining 9/11 and plop it in the middle of the LP.

All this to say - more than likely our grave misdeeds will slowly, but almost assuredly lead to the channel being taken down. Enjoy it while it lasts folks. The iceberg commeth.
