It is an unfortunate day as I have just signed the Articles of Impeachment against former Secretary James Ripley presented to me following it's success in the House. The Impeachment managers who I appointed earlier today will soon deliver the articles to the Senate.

I am elated to have been confirmed by the Senate to the office of Secretary of Health and Human Services. Following my recovery from an injury which severely impedes my ability to conduct my duties, I am extremely pleased to get to work alongside my colleagues at the 1.
