Can pigeons be afraid of heights? She's on the edge of the roof, like at the top of a high diving board. With fear in her body she looks down. Every so often a little leap, only to flap up and back to the edge. This has gone on for days... She wants to come down but can't! 😬

I was beginning to worry, she was looking a bit weak and thin, however after 3 nights and 4 long days Davina finally took a clumsy leap of faith and came down from the school roof! Once landed, she filled her tummy and dunked her head in the water bucket. Hooray - welcome back 🥳

A fox made its home under the shed next to the coop; the shed needed replacing, so we took it down to move the fox on and this is who we found: 3 fox cubs - we're on high alert until the babies are old enough to move the family on. You can't always choose your neighbours.

I'm trying to train Brenda and Rita to be held. They haven't been handled before so aren't ready for the children to hold them yet - I'll keep chickens whispering and maybe we'll get there soon 🤞🐓
