Women are better represented here in #GlosFire than in any other service, making up around 15% of our operational workforce. Colleagues at Fairford are proud that 3 of their 12 firefighters are women - that’s 25%! But we want to do better with our diversity - watch this space!

In tradional fashion, all our best made plans were interrupted by a fire call. Nevermind, a quick trip to Carterton for an alarm and then back to the tolsey to finish our sponsored event.

The money has been counted and it’s an incredible effort by the crew of Burford Fire Station! not only did they manage to complete the 200-mile challenge with a Fire call in the middle, but also raise over £1000.00, which will be shared between Fire Fighters Charity @SeeSawCharity🎉
