Finally sorted out my cold water dipping wheelie bin zone and I’m rather in love with it - just need to relocate the tools and fill some more planters.

It’s worth having dogs just so that you can buy them snuggly dog dressing gowns for when they get out of the bath…

Update on this:- the husband’s legs were too long for him to be able to sit with his legs bent in the wheelie bin so we had to upsize his wheelie bin. So, we have his & hers wheelie bins now.

Got myself a nice ‘up-do’ whilst checking out the beautiful Trafalgar Square overnight garden after my drug dose.

Back from Esseeeeeeex and day one of cold water dipping is complete. I can confirm that getting in and out of a wheelie bin is not the most elegant manoeuvre. Feeling great though!

Facebook reminded me that it’s been 8 years since I started on the DIAN-TU drug trial - what on earth are my fellow human guinea pigs and I going to do when it ends in a year and a bit?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

So happy with the driftwood and tin can gardening caddy that Chris made for my birthday and the salted caramel cheesecake that Despina made for me. A very stunning sunset dip in the sea last night too.

First drug dose on the bus - no idea why I put it off for so long. My original plan was to alternate between London and the bus but now I’m thinking straight to bus dosing all of the time. It’s so chilled AND I can swim in the sea afterwards!

This was my baseline visit for the DIAN-TU drug trial. Another year and a bit to go - maybe more. Haven’t a clue if I’ll be sad or relieved when it’s over. It has been a very positive experience. At least a year more to go. #UntilTheLastMemoryFades #AlzSucks #FamilialAlz

When trying to get an urgent NHS dental appointment is impossible AND you have Alzheimer’s so every attempt to try to get this sorted gets harder and harder. It’s been months and I’m at the point of asking Chris to pull my wisdom tooth out with pliers.

Dear Travelodge UK, despite the best efforts of the kind staff attempting to make entry to our room at Covent Garden we are still awaiting the arrival of the manager who seems to be AWOL. The not so perfect end to a day of cognitive tests and generally being a human Guinea pig.

How did #LondonMarathon go for me? Only made it to the half way mark before I wrecked my feet but it was worth it the raise close to £1500 for the RareDementiaSupport Centre that will help families like mine with a rare (often hereditary) that affects most in mid life!
