I am really proud of my teams working hard across the whole of C Division. In December, officers in Wales worked hard to reduce crime as a part of Operation Genesis, making the network safer for everyone. #Thankyou

Our Neighbourhood Policing Teams are the backbone of our force - they are the faces you see every day across stations up and down the country, focused on your safety. This week we’re celebrating #neighbourhoodpolicingweek

I have been out engaging with our community today, talking about their concerns regarding confidence in policing. It was good to get their views to take back and consider. #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeek

I have been really enjoying getting involved with the officers this week, briefing the dog handlers British Transport Police Dog Section, hearing views from the public and getting out and about and seeing our partners in action. #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeek x.com/BTP/status/161…

I had a great catch up with my Corporate Communications Managers, planning our approach for the next year. 🗓️ With our main priorities of keeping you informed, increasing visibility of our officers and sharing the good work they all do! #oneBTP

🥳Text 61016 turns 10! 🥳 In 2013 we launched #Text61016 - a discreet way to report any crime, anti-social or suspicious behaviour on the railway. A decade on, and more than half a million texts later, we're still the only force to provide this unique service!

It has been a pleasure to be involved in this. I have enjoyed working with women from various ranks and roles within the force to create this. #InternationalWomensDay

EVERYONE should feel safe when using public transport, which is a priority for both myself and the British Transport Police👮‍♀️ It was great visiting its HQ yesterday, to discuss the work they're doing to tackle anti-social behaviour and combat violence against women and girls across our railways🛤️

Safer Travel is a partnership between West Midlands Police, @BTPBhm and Transport for West Midlands. The team started in 2005, but BTP didn't join until 2011 with the teams not being fully integrated until 2013. Officers now conduct joint patrols on bus, rail & metro across the region. #SaferTravel18th

Yesterday I joined Safer Travel Police to celebrate their 18th birthday. It was a lovely day enjoyed by many and really highlighted the partnership working between forces and organisations involved. Here's to many more happy years. #SaferTravel18th
