I walked again today. Each walk is harder but each walk is ever more important. I am so lucky to have an amazing team to help me. Not today ALS. Definitely not today.

When you live with ALS, your vocabulary changes, and you learn words that you never thought you would. Hope is not a word associated with ALS but it’s a word that I wake up everyday feeling. Good night moon.

It’s Friday, I’m in love.

As long as I am alive, I will never stop fighting for the whole ALS community.

For four years, Sandra Abrevaya kept me safe from every virus that came to our house. This year, I went without a mask for a few events. For the last week, I have been battling Covid. Thanks to my amazing caregivers I am feeling better everyday. I am not covid-free, but soon.

This morning, our daughters surprised us for our anniversary. These balloons were part of the surprise. 11 years ago, I heard the most beautiful word: Yes. And with that, I was lucky enough to marry the most extraordinary person I had ever met. Happy Anniversary Sandra Abrevaya

Even in our hardest days, there is still a reason for hope. I believe this with every fiber of my body. Good night moon.
