Our latest, by the brilliant Xiaoyi Li, out in Cell, leverages a new method for mapping genomic locations of reporters to discover massive chromatin effects on prime editing (PE). We then use 'epigenetic conditioning' to enhance PE. Paper: tinyurl.com/5n8d9mh2

Ever considered measuring genetic variant effects with prime editing but hesitated due to low and variable editing? Last month, 3 papers showed that large-scale screens can work 💪. A 🧵 comparing the papers of the Francisco J. Sánchez-Rivera lab, the Britt Adamson lab, and Greg Findlay

For those who haven't already figured this out from the paper, Jun Yan is a superstar. Can't wait to see what he does next as part of the Marson Lab.

Amazing work from the Adamson lab out in nature! I'm glad we could try out this promising new prime editing system (PE7) in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells!

Excited to share our work in the Britt Adamson lab using prime editing for multiplexed dropout screens! We built a platform that can reach high-efficiency editing and tested 240,000 epegRNAs for phenotypes. We saw phenotypes we expected and a few we didn't - check here for details!

What started out as a simple 'let's try this in embryos' turned into a full fledged paper! Many many thanks to co-first author Ryan McNulty, our respective PIs Eszter Posfai and Britt Adamson and all authors.
