Chuffed to bits with my parkrun PB at Riverside parkrun . Well done to other 400 runners who all completed the run. Volunteers as usual were excellent #parkrun

Really enjoyed pushing myself at the RunThrough gateshead 10k yesterday. Nice 🥉rd place and a new PB of 34:38. Couldn’t of done it without my Mrs and daughters support and also the excellent team who I run for #elvetstriders

Great day at Sunderland Half Marathon yesterday. Plenty of runners and plenty of support on course, lots I knew, some I have no idea who was cheering me on. So happy to finish 6/873 runners with at time of 76:50 on what is a difficult course Elvet Striders

Cracking few days of running for me lately. 5k PB at Ali Brownlee 5K on Friday with 16:37 and then on Tuesday 5 mile PB at Tyne Bridge Harriers Bridges of the Tyne with 27:30. Managed to finished 9th and 13th respectively which I am chuffed about Elvet Striders

As it #YorkshireDay I will post this from BoltonCastle off Sunday when I took part in the James Herriott 14km trail run and came 🥉rd. Plenty of climbing and the wind was wild on top. Not far of the winner after leading at 8km point

The snowflakes have won getting parkrun to remove all sub 17 records, course records and other quick times. Bloody hell people run as fast as slow if you want, why do slower runs care how fast the faster ones run. Everyone runs at there pace however fast it is.

Locke Park 20 Miler at Redcar couldn’t have gone no better. 5th place which i wasn’t bothered about for once, but the 2:01:54 I certainly was. Pacing was superb and helped running with two class runners. 5 weeks to London and training is going class Elvet Striders

Did the TCS London Marathon disappoint, certainly not.Did it go above expectations,it certainly did. 1 year ago I couldn’t think of anything worse than running a marathon,now I am looking to next year already and trying to better my time of 2:43:43. #LondonMarathon

Middlesbrough half with RunThrough yesterday was pretty cool running next to the ground I have been to many times. Happy ish with my time of 75:15 and finishing 35 out of over 2600. 48 days to London
