Finally saw it today as well. I loved how I felt like I took a time machine to 84. As expected, historical accuracy was not exactly on point. But the storytelling and nostalgia was fantastic. 👍👍

2023 is a great year in sneakers. It’s not Dunks, AJ1s, and Yeezy. AJ3s and AJ4s are back. There are IRL releases. Ronnie Fieg is back on his BS. Ppl aren’t afraid to wear ASICS, New Balance. Ppl love suede adidas and Action Bronson has one of the best shoes.

I’ve realized over the past few weeks that getting rid of sneakers isn’t something you should regret. Do we sell things too early, give away things we wish we kept? Sure. But nothing lasts forever, including sneakers, and you can’t cry over the past.

i've started to get rid of a lot of clothes and sneakers. And it's freeing. Not just to make space, but also because i realized i'm reaching the age where i don't need to hold onto something for another 5 years so i can relive my 20s in my 40s. It's OK that life moves on.

I’m so very sad to hear about matthew perry. He was lovely to me on Friends and every time I saw him in the decades after. Please read his book. It was his legacy to help. He won’t rest in peace though.. He’s already too busy making everyone laugh up there.
