This is particularly sensitive since other ranges in the area have been visited by their respective health departments who have checked the vaccine certificate process. cont'd

The lawyers have made this request to avoid the club facing charges related to the vaccine pass regulations which would then have to be dealt with in court and could affect a quick resolution to the problem we face. cont'd

If we have someone checking for vaccine passes for now, the club can be accessed by those that have a certificate. We are trying to eliminate this requirement but for now, while the lawyers are working on the issue, this will allow limited access for some. cont'd

If there are volunteers to check vaccine passes for members that come to the range, we can open for the time periods where we have someone available to do this. cont'd

We are currently working with our lawyers to obtain full range access to all of our members. This process will take a few days. We appreciate your patience.

Our office manager Janet has stepped up to provide vaccination credential checking during off hour shooting only from 9am to 2pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Please see her in the office for a tennis ball card to open the downstairs range door.

BRRC is now in the process of allowing full access to members that have a vaccination certificate. Those members that have one can request that their card be reactivated to allow lower door access at the range, this will eliminate the need to use the special “tennis ball” cards.

The capacity limits at the firing line have been lifted, all ports are now open for use. There are tables and chairs in the lounge again. You may remove your masks whilst in the shooting port and the side shields are pulled out. If you leave the port you must on your mask.

Due to a back stop issue the range is closed until further notice. The contractor has been called in to look at the problem. We will announce when the range reopens once repairs have been made.

Per the announcement by Doug Ford today the range will be closed after IPSC has finished tomorrow night. This ensures that the range is closed by 12:01 AM Wednesday.

The club is reopening at 8AM Jan 31 ,2022. Must be fully vaccinated members that have registered their QR code at [email protected]. No guests during non-discipline hours. Only 5 ports open. Masks required in the building.

Starting March 1, 2022, the vaccine requirement for entry into Range Burlington will be lifted. All ports will be open as well. You must still wear a mask while in any of the buildings.

As of today March 23, 2022 you no longer have to wear a mask inside the range, unless you prefer to reduce your lead exposure.
