I think people will show what they think of the budget in next years local elections in May. After that, if not before, I think there will be a Labour PM challenge or a lot of Labour MP’s will be one term members. I can’t see how anyone is better off from that budget.

Not sure how by taxing us more, so we take home less is going to help with the cost of our living. But then again, politicians don’t lie, do they !!!!!!!!!!!

Methinks McCullum & Stokes might jump ship before the end of the tour, because I think they will probably be sacked as manager and captain at the end of it. England are woeful.

Armed forces member who died in 'tragic accident' in Ukraine named Think you can read that as he was from 22 SAS. Govt never acknowledges deaths in the SAS, they are listed under their parent Regt, in this case the Paras. Only SAS would be deployed there bbc.com/news/articles/…

Why don’t modern keepers just catch balls within their reach. They all seem to think they have to block it, or punch it away, giving the opposition chances to get the rebound and score. Surely if you can get two hands to block it, you have two hands to catch it, and no rebound

Does anyone think players take any notice when coaches are showing them tactics on a tablet before they come on as a substitute. All they want to do is play

How many mistakes can the BBC make in one article EYRI national park is in Wales, not the Lake District. He was in the Royal Marines which is part of the Navy, not the Army, Please BBC use Verify on your own articles bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Why is it now the norm that a player can just sit down & get the match stopped, and physios pretend to treat them for 5 mins while the substitute warms up. He limps off & the substitute comes on. It’s pure time wasting & there should be a time penalty before the sub comes on

Can Starmer legally commit UK Troops to what will be a war zone without Parliaments permission. It will be another Op Banner, the troops could come under fire from a hostile force or population UK and France to send troops to Ukraine if peace deal agreed bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Raheem Sterlings contract ended at Chelsea by mutual consent He has not played a competitive game since May 24 but since then was still on his weekly wage of £325’000. Chelsea paid him nearly £17M a year to turn up at the training ground when asked Football has really gone mad

Emma Radacanu has parted ways with her ninth coach after getting knocked out in the 2nd Round of the Australian Open. Nine coaches have parted ways. Methinks the problem may not be the coaches

Saka has signed a new three year contract at Arsenal. He will be paid £300,000 a week, that’s £15.6 million a year. I admit he is good, but no player is worth that kind of money

Mahmood said housing a family of three in asylum accommodation costs up to £158,000 per year. I am struggling to understand how renting, say a two bedroom flat or even a hotel room costs £3K a week. Someone, presumably the landlord or hotels concerned are making obscene profits

Can anyone tell me why defenders take goal kick, only to then pass it to the goalkeeper who then boots it upfield. Why don’t either of them just boot it upfield in the first time.

It really annoys me when Starmer says the Govt are increasing the minimum wage to help people on low incomes. The Govt are not paying a penny of it, the employers are paying it, and may cut jobs because of it. 1/2

Browny (@browny1956) 's Twitter Profile Photo

More importantly those getting the raise will meet the frozen tax threshold earlier, meaning the Govt will gain extra tax income from the raise in minimum wage. Starmer & Reeves are duping the public into believing the Govt is paying this. They are thieves by any other name
