Autism adds so many layers to my DID that i don't think I talk about enough. Switching causing sensory issues. Different alters having different sensitivities to lights and sounds. And trying to adapt as a system but also as a person with autism. It is really hard.

the way that you’re less likely to develop DID if you have a caregiver that’s consistently horrible vs if they were inconsistently alternating between terrorizing AND loving (or at least giving the appearance of being caring)

btw if you are too disabled to work you still deserve good things that make life worth living. good food and clothes you like and aids to make your life easier and trips to see the world and school to get your education and believing otherwise is genuinely stupid
