So it has been confirmed that, if all eligible take up pension credit, any 'savings' from £1.5 billion taken from pensioners will be lost. Yet the government says it wants 100% take-up of pension credit. So this will 'save' nothing yet cost many. Truly a parable of means-testing.

Any left Labour MP not voting against these cuts and instead taking the cowardly way out by abstaining can no longer consider themselves left. What will it be Richard Burgon MP? #WinterFuelPayment

Rachel Reeves can make changes to capital gains tax, inheritance tax and national insurance to easily raise more than £20bn a year. Punishing poor pensioners, children, cutting public services, inflicting austerity is a political choice. theguardian.com/business/artic…

An Israeli police officer was filmed strangling a Palestinian boy to death during a protest in front of the US embassy in Jerusalem on Saturday The film has been taken down numerous times on social media. Our governments don't work for us #GazaGenocide

I expect every decent Labour MP to vote against the removal of the winter fuel allowance. An abstention is withdrawing your vote and does not count. We've had 14 years of this. We're not gonna stand for any more.

It’s been nearly a year and they’re dropping bombs like this if anyone is in doubt that the intention is to kill as many people as possible then you’re complicit.

F*ck 1997. New Labour was Thatcher's greatest achievement. In 1945, Attlee inherited far worse than Starmer has. Did he choose to inflict austerity? No. He chose to create the NHS and the welfare state, build council houses and nationalise public services/key industries.

Susanna Reid, "Labour are adamant the winter fuel policy is the right thing to do.. They were forced into it" Carol Vorderman, "I don't think they are forced into it, they absolutely aren't forced into it" "I'm shocked quite frankly that a Labour government has suggested this..

I think more and more people are starting to realise that Jeremy Corbyn was our last chance. His 2017 manifesto was the best manifesto since 1945. The policies contained within it are the only way of reversing the decline of the UK. Without those policies things won't improve.
