The indictment of $SMCI's founder for smuggling NVDIA GPUs to China apparently does not include SMCI as a criminal defendant. Presumably DOJ could have gotten the company on the hook (and wouldn't have been shy to do so) if it was possible. So death of the company is exagerated.
